To translate anything, you can just use an engine like Yahoo!, Google or any reliable online translator. You can go to Babel Fish...that is a really good one to use...or you can just use google. You can do just text, or whole webpages.

hahaha, sorry Bobette...I pressed the mouse twice rather than once and it double posted my comment. I’m usually not in such a rush, but I haven’t really seen you around much other than one topic yesterday. I usually see you on like every single one...but not so much lately. What’s going on!?!

Sadly, outside the conventianal languages (Spanish, French, German, etc) you can’t really find good translators to help you translate pages or text. It really sucks. Google and Yahoo! need to improve their software.

I believe the writer sucks! Its similar to folks whispering to each other and excluding others that are present. Just plain RUDE!

I wonder why the writer posts in Turkish. I find that ridiculous. And why robots. I didn’t find a software to help me translate it from Turkish. Well let me just try again, probably it will work. And yeah it is rude to speak in a language we don’t understand

Bobette! Don’t say that. She isn’t bad, she just needs to write this stuff in English where everyone else can understand her better. But I do know what you mean and that is why I’m focusing to go beyond tri-lingual. Oh well. This is the first article, besides her others, that have been written in a third party language.

Taylor, she knows that she should have a translator. Then she sends you to a website that is for translating to Turkey not English. Besides, she the writer why should I have to spend time searching for a way to read her article.

I would never go to a website and post in English when the entire website is in another language without translating what I have written.

Well I suppose you are right. I wouldn’t go to another site that is in another language that I don’t understand and post something in mine where they don’t read it. Fine, I concur, lol. You win Bobette. :)

So what you were originally attempting to do was to post this article as though you were the writer when in fact this should have been submitted as a newslink because someone else wrote it.

Hi Siminya, Your English isn’t too bad. I think you can communicate at a basic level.. If you have anything to say you can contact any of us and we could help you translate it or give it a form. I think many more people will be inclined to read your articles if they are presented in English. However I’m glad you are not advertising some product, which is what I thought in the beginning :)

Hi all. Siminya's link to the post says one in five Australian women have or had cyber sex. This is hundred percent true. During the late 90s when mIRC and ICQ was such a craze I had cyber sex with many such females. It was fun. ;-)

Welcome to Instablogs, Siminya! I’m sure there are contributors from Turkey, such as you, that can translate for the readers. Nonetheless, just keep posting!

We’ll just try to learn Turkish, somehow. :)

Hmmm, so let me see if I understand.

Someone, nobody knows who, has posted this text, which nobody understands.

But its about cyber sex, apparently a topic of great interest.

But nobody is discussing that, they’re discussing the fact that nobody can understand a word of this post.

And by doing so, the obviously flawed Instablogs system has elevated this author, whom nobody can understand, to ”editor” of the Europe section and the #2 opinion leader.

If Instablogs had a direct competitor, they would be rolling on the floor with laughter at us right now.

Clearly, some technical changes are in order folks.

I’m not too sure about this, but I think it is based on an activity level and where you live. But then again I’m not sure.

and the #2 opinion leader.

But that is based on how popular your post(s) are.

The fact that you are not sure is telling.

How can somebody be an ”editor” of an English-language blog if they don’t even speak it’s language?

How can a post be popular (i.e. receive a lot of comments) when nobody knows what it means?

Shouldn’t we have better control over the blog than that?

Again, any competitor would be ROTF with laughter at this silly display. Maybe the next post will consist simply of gibberish characters — indeed, for all we know THIS one does.

Thanks for noticing, Siminya! Your English is improving!

When I don’t like something, I’m negative. I guess in Turkey you are positive. However, not when it comes to the United States, which you despise and say so at every opportunity.

Yikes. What hypocrisy.

Taylor what I have noticed is that I am an editor for Latin America and the United States. I believe it is set to place you according to the country a writer chooses when submitting articles along with how many comments that article recieves.

Also I believe that its set to place those who submit the most comments, articles, newslinks for that day in certain spots.

For example, Siminya’s article recieved more attention than any other article yesterday which put her in the editor’s position in her part of the world or the part of the world that she assigned her article when submitting it.

So it seems that its based on daily activity more than anything else; whichi seems fair. It gives everyone a chance to be noticed by everyone else.
